I am an Irish artist working with painting, drawing, sculpture, performance and film to explore states of brokenness, confusion and the poignant beauty of our interdependence.
I am fascinated by the disconnect between felt language and spoken language. How utterances that are deemed syntactically or grammatically incorrect can feel entirely precise in relation to the ways in which our bodies experience heartbreak and longing.
I completed my MFA at The Slade School of Art, London, in 2013. At my graduate show I was awarded the Stanford Scholarship, the Orpen Award, and the Charles Heath Hayward Award.
